Daylina Miller is a senior in the mass communications program at the University of South Florida and is double majoring in journalism and psychology. She currently works for University Communications & Marketing, writing news and feature stories for www.usf.edu, the university’s homepage.
She is attending the trip to England and Ireland to scratch her travel itch, make new friends and immerse herself in cultures she anticipates to be vastly different than her own.
She hopes to capture the highlights of the trip through the blog, in the hope that she can pass on some of the knowledge she attains and possibly inspire current and future USF mass comm students to participate in this trip.
She also understands what it’s like to be a college student struggling financially and was also previously discouraged from attending study abroad trips because of this. She wants students to know that there are several means to fund trips and that travel experience is rewarding and life-changing. Please feel free to email her at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions about financing a study abroad trip or about the blog in general.
